haha noo, we were total newbs to AX AA lol. Yeah for sure! same here! :3
I've got like 7 episodes left for Gurren Lagann. Just don't quit after episode 8; that's the tough part.

Yoko Kanno?! Now I really must finish it! I watched the first episode. I must say, you just can't complain about your nickname being 'hime' when you have a hime hair cut! >(

Have you heard about the new Haruhi? It's driving me insane right now. MOST ANNOYING PLOT LINE EVER.

i got really confused about haruhi D: looks like it was a remake with new episodes stuffed in?

btw i have a question! and you probably have the answer XD! at what pixels and dpi do you usually make your images? i'm really confused about what to do to make the images big enough for larger prints @@

Yeah, they re-aired the first season and are sprinkling in 14 new episodes. So far there have been 5 new ones.

I've been upping my image sizes for print quality lately. If I know I want to make a rather large poster, I generally work at around 10 inches with 600dpi just so I can boost it to a 20 inch poster at 300 dpi. My Kuroshitsuji pic should have the measurements at the bottom. That was the first image I really did it with. Right now I've just started working on a 10"x7.5" 600dpi, and another that is almost done but isn't meant for a poster, so it's about 10"x8" 300-500dpi.

So now I have a question for you! Where did you get your prints done, at what sizes, and if possible, how much/many? You said that you made a profit, and I'm curious at what to expect for reasonable sales.

ohhh so that's how you do it o.o! understood!

i actually got my prints done at staples. cheap and relatively good quality. i only did 8" x 10" and 4"x6" this year for my prints. five 8x10 each, and 6~12 4x6.
people generally bought the small ones and not so much the big ones.

it's a better idea to get better quality prints at catzprints.com (don't know if i got that right) or overnightprints.com. I just didn't have time this year.

I had to test out the prices a lot. people don't buy anything thing until I lowered the 8x10 to $6, and the small ones to $2. But it's still a profit, 'cause the prints were only a little more than a $1 each. Commissions do so well to add to the money 8D

zeiva and muhoho-seijin prints were only $5. so i guess $5 is the best you can get, but i bought a bigger one for $13. totally worth it tho. it was by :iconprodigybombay:

All good information to know! Thank you!

I saw zeiva and muhoho-seijin at Fanime the year before, but didn't buy anything from them because I wanted a poster size and they didn't offer those. For some reason I really don't like buying 8x10 size; I would rather have a trinket or a poster. Dose that make me weird?
